DFW Express Fall Academy

DFW Express will be hosting a baseball academy starting Oct 22ND and 24TH. This will be a month-long academy and will include 1hr with one of our private instructors.  This baseball academy is for ages 7-18 and is designed for the serious players as well as the beginner.  Instruction concentrates on the basic fundamentals of baseball, including hitting, fielding, pitching, catching and base running.  Additionally, this athletic academy includes intense work with an emphasis on improving skills, effective drills, and developing proper work habits.  Athletes will be placed into appropriate groups based on age and ability.  Athletes have the opportunity to learn about more than one position during the specialty groups. The goal is to make sure athletes leave with a greater knowledge of baseball and love of the game. The athlete to coach ratio is 8:1. #ExpressDNA

A note from Jeff:

I have known both success and failure and I think it's important to experience both.  A doctor told me at the age of 15 that I would never pitch again and I had zero college offers out of high school.  However, I used that as fuel to motivate me throughout my career eventually earning a full scholarship to the University of Oklahoma and a World Series ring. As a coach my aim is to pour into each player that I work with regardless of size or skill and give them the attention they need both physically and mentally. I look to give them a vision of what they can be in the future and help them get there. My aim is to not only make them better at baseball, but to also instill in them a confidence and a belief for on and off the field success. I realize that everyone learns differently so I love having any information that you think would help me teach your child. If you're looking for private instruction from a professional, I would love to work with you and your son or daughter to achieve their future goals in this great game of baseball. I’ll be in the area from mid-September until mid-February every year.
